Peltor Performance is an ultra light professional rally helmet. Weighting in at only 1000 gr. +- 50 gr., (including HANS anchors, excluding communication set), it represents a milestone in the development of rally helmets. With its low weight, it reduces the strain on the driver's neck muscles.

Manufactured of Tricomp (a composites of fibreglass, polyaramide and carbon fibre) with an interior of fireproof Nomex. Built-in hearing protector cups that attenuate ambient noise, which improves communication and comfort.

Peltor Performances is BSI approved and available with HANS post anchors and Peltor's high quality communication set.

H.A.N.S.



HANS (Head And Neck Support) one is the safety system which protects race driver against strong violations in the head and neck area. A cabbage fibre collar surrounds the neck of the pilot and is fixed under the safety belts. From HANS two small belts lead to the helmet of the driver. With it the helmet of the pilot is held in case of a strike direct and the appearing forces are derived to the neck instead
of working on neck and spinal column. HANS - system is prescribed in some racing series, as for example Champcar and DTM since several years.
